Carcassonne: Inns & Cathedrals Expansion 1 (later reprinted as Inns & Cathedrals) is the first major expansion for Carcassonne, introducing several new elements to the game. This expansion includes:
Inns and Cathedrals: New types of tiles that add strategic depth to the game.
New Tile Shapes: Additional tiles featuring cities, roads, and cloisters in new configurations.
Big Meeple: Each player receives a "big meeple," which counts as two regular meeples when placed.
