Firefight: Plague Bursters

Those unfortunate enough to survive an encounter with a Plague Lord face a terrifying transformation. They become Stage 2 infected, known as “Bursters.”

These bloated creatures are walking plague bombs. They release streams of contagious organic matter, infecting an unlimited number of victims once they’re within range.

Even at a distance, Bursters pose a threat. Enemy fire can cause them to explode, unleashing a deadly shower of contagious gore that infects anything nearby.
