Labyrinth: The Awakening, 2010 - ? builds upon Labyrinth: The War on Terror, 2001 - ?, a 1-2 player card-driven board game that simulates the ongoing struggle by Islamic extremists to establish their version of religious rule across the Muslim world. This expansion picks up where Labyrinth left off, introducing new rules and cards to reflect the last five years of history. It includes new mechanics to represent the grassroots political movements of the Arab Spring and the resulting civil wars.
