Marrying Mr. Darcy is a role-playing game where players take on the roles of female characters from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The objective is to enhance your desirability as a potential wife for the available Suitors through various strategies.

The game unfolds in two stages: the Courtship Stage and the Proposal Stage.

Courtship Stage: Players work to improve their Heroine's chances of happiness by earning Character Points and acquiring or playing Cunning Cards. Character Points help attract Suitors and contribute to your final score. Cunning Points, while not contributing to Character Points, are crucial as they determine who will enter the Proposal Stage first, giving that player a significant advantage.

Proposal Stage: Once Event Cards have been played, this stage begins. Players will roll to determine which Suitor proposes, decide whether to accept or reject the proposal, and calculate their final score.

The base game includes 175 cards and 6 player aid cards, offering a rich experience as you strive to secure the most satisfying marriage by the game's end.
