The Witcher: Mages Expansion introduces 5 new mage characters to The Witcher: Old World. Each mage features a unique miniature, an individual deck, a player board with a specific specialty, a Board extension, and a full deck of Action Cards. Mages bring their own style of training and combat, distinct from the witchers.

In the Witcher universe, mages are influential figures involved in political intrigues and hunt magical beasts not for trophies, but to gather valuable ingredients for their spells. As magical beasts roam the Continent, mages seek to make their mark, gaining fame through their magical pursuits and occasionally showing their prowess if challenged in a tavern.
