Thames & Kosmos Announces an Exciting New Exit Game Inspired by Catan!

Thames & Kosmos has unveiled a special entry in their popular Exit game series, where the classic escape room-style gameplay meets the legendary board game, Catan.

In this unique crossover, players take on the roles of settlers arriving on the island of Catan. To establish themselves, they’ll need to solve a series of engaging puzzles, set up trade with locals, and build their homes—just like in the classic game, but with a thrilling twist!

Designed for up to 4 players (with a solo mode included), this game is suitable for ages 10 and up and offers 1-2 hours of challenging fun. Sales are set to begin in June 2025.

The Exit game series, which debuted nearly a decade ago, has become a staple of escape room-style board games. Each box challenges players to escape from a locked room within a set time limit by solving intricate puzzles and riddles. Today, the series boasts dozens of titles, cementing its reputation as a fan favorite.

This isn’t the first time an escape room-style board game has drawn inspiration from classics. The Unlock! series previously released Board Game Adventures, featuring puzzles inspired by Ticket to Ride and Pandemic.
