The interceptor, the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II started its service in 1960 with the U.S. Navy. Later the Phantom was adopted by the Marine Corps and Air Force. It was used broadly during the Vietnam War and remained in active service until 1996. As of 2018, with 5,195 produced, it is the most-produced American supersonic military aircraft. This Phantom has the power and capacity to carry over 18,000-pounds, including bombs and air-to-air missiles. This kit contains transparent and plastic parts to faithfully recreate the Luftwaffe F-4F.
