The U.S. M1A2 Abrams remains a popular and formidable main battle tank. Constantly upgraded since its introduction in 1992, the M1A2 continues to hit the front lines with current digital technology. The battle tank features depleted uranium armor and an upgraded commander's cupola. During Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003, the tanks were upgraded due to IEDs and other explosives in populated areas. This caused the development of the M1A2 Abrams Tank Urban Survival Kits or TUSK I. Upgraded armor on the hull sides ensured better protection from explosions, as well as underside armor to negate damage from landmines. Sometime thereafter, the TUSK II was developed and added implementations such as a tile-shaped reactive armor to the hull sides and turret, better shielding for the commander, and a rear-view camera. This kit with over 400 plastic parts faithfully recreates the M1A2 Abrams TUSK II from the U.S. Army in three versions including V2, TUSK I, and TUSK II, with six finishing options. The fully assembled model is 26.4cm and 9.9cm tall.
