Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind, German Anti-Aircraft Tank - Academy 13236

The Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind was a German anti-aircraft vehicle produced to counter Allied fighter-bombers. Using the chassis of the Pz.kpfw.IV and equipped with Quad 20mm Flak 38 L/112.5 cannons, the vehicle could carry 3200 rounds of ammo, firing 800 shots per minute. Effective at hindering the attacks of low-flying planes, the production cycle of the Flakpanzer was a relatively short one due to a lack of materials. This 1/35 scale kit accurately recreates the Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind.
