The Collapse began when massive Gravity-Bombs, designed to create spatial rifts to new worlds, inadvertently severed many planets from the rest of the Empire. As a result, the surviving factions were left to rebuild civilization and rediscover lost technologies on their isolated worlds.

Now, with their shared history and aspirations, these factions must come together once more to determine who is worthy of succeeding the great power and uniting the fragmented Empire.
