This version is specifically designed to appeal to a broader audience by simplifying the rules, reducing them by about half. Elements like monsters, tools, horror plants, kiwi, haustorium, dark heart, Mars, Venus, shelves, blooms, Offshore, and Cheshire Cat have been removed. Additionally, the marine variant and size mechanics were also dropped, which are significant changes worth noting.

Despite these differences, the two games are designed to integrate with each other, allowing players to mix and match roles from both games for a combined gameplay experience.
