Bolt Action: M26 Pershing Heavy Tank

Introduced late in World War II, the M26 Pershing was developed by the US Army to counter the formidable German heavy tanks such as the Tiger and King Tiger. Equipped with a 90mm gun, the largest caliber available to the US at the time, the M26 found its true purpose during the Korean War (1950-1953), where it earned a reputation by taking down more than half of the enemy’s T34/85 tanks.
