In this third major expansion for the award-winning Carcassonne, the game delves into the realm of fantasy. The land around Carcassonne is under threat from a dragon, making life challenging for its followers. Brave heroes venture forth to confront the danger, but without the help of fairies, their chances are slim.

Within the city, the princess seeks aid from the knights, while farmers build secret passages to move undetected by the dragon.
