However, with pollution causing harm, the choice between investing in clean resources or cheap, but damaging, fossil fuels must be made. CATAN – New Energies offers a new experience with familiar mechanics of harvesting, trading, and building, enriched by power plants, energy tokens, and environmental events. Not only is this standalone game beautifully designed by Ian O'Toole, but it also delivers a powerful message and is made from sustainable materials. Recommended for ages 14 and up, with 3-4 players and a playtime of 90 minutes, this game includes various components such as land hexes and resource cards.
