Cult Following: The One True Game is a playful, irreverent storytelling card game where you create absurd cults using ideas from the deck and your own imagination, then pitch them to your friends. "Monsters under the bed are real! They think humans are food, and our children are in danger! Our cult will protect your kids by putting live bears in every child's bedroom, so you can sleep easy!"
Players are divided into two groups. The "Cultists" use ideas from the deck to craft a ridiculous story, which they pitch to the other players. The "Recruits" ask questions from the cards to determine which cult suits them best, such as: "What should I bring to my first cult meeting?", "Which cult here is your biggest enemy and why?", or the crucial question, "What’s in it for me?"
