San Francisco, 1970: A peaceful commune, a rock band, and a rugged motorcycle club are bonded by their shared love of music and mind-expanding drugs. Together, they dream of reviving the legendary Woodstock Festival. But when the commune's guru is murdered, the ideals of Love, Peace, and Happiness quickly unravel.
The host invites everyone to a communal dinner, where each guest assumes the role of a murder suspect. One of them is the killer, but they all harbor secrets they’d rather keep hidden. Over the course of three rounds, players must uncover the secrets of others without drawing suspicion to themselves. The ultimate goal is to solve the murder—or, if you're the culprit, to get away with it.
Deadly Dinner is played over three rounds, with each player receiving new, secret information about the crime in each round. Players must discuss their clues and information as a group to identify the perpetrator by the end of the game. To prepare, each player should receive their character's initial information a few days before the game begins.
