Europe in Turmoil II: The Interbellum Years, 1920-1939 is a two-player, card-driven game that simulates the political events in Europe between the First and Second World Wars. Players take on the roles of moderate Left-Wing and Right-Wing politicians in European nation-states, competing for political dominance while navigating the influence of their own extreme factions. Players alternate playing event cards to sway the nations of Europe, with events reflecting key historical moments such as the rise of Fascism in Italy and Germany, political instability in the successor states of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, disarmament and rearmament, the ineffective League of Nations, Communist Russia's influence in Western and Central Europe, the Spanish Civil War, and other significant occurrences.
