Fighting Formations: 29th Infantry Division

Fighting Formations is a series of wargames that focus on WWII tactical combined-arms combat at the platoon and squad levels. Each installment highlights a specific combat unit, showcasing battles in which the unit took part as well as its unique fighting characteristics and order of battle. The second volume, featuring the US 29th Infantry Division, covers the division's actions from just after D-Day in June of 1944 until the end of that year. Included in the set are three backprinted 22" x 34" maps, four backprinted 17” x 22” maps, six die-cut countersheets, two 8.5" x 11" player aid cards, 55 playing cards, a double-sided track display, a 28-page series rulebook, a 28-page playbook, a 28-page scenarios booklet, a 24-page examples of play booklet, 10 dice, 10 wooden cubes, and a wooden pawn.
