The Pillbug in Hive moves one space at a time like many other pieces, but it also has a special ability that can be used instead of its regular movement. This unique ability allows the Pillbug to move an adjacent piece—whether it's a friendly piece or an enemy piece—by lifting it two spaces: first up onto itself, and then down into another empty space adjacent to the Pillbug. This maneuver adds a tactical element to the game, enabling players to reposition key pieces or disrupt their opponent's strategy in surprising ways.
