Animals from all over the world are coming together for the hula hoop championships, aiming to keep their hoops spinning for as long as possible. This competition is represented by cards, and the objective is to either be the first to get rid of all your cards or make all the other players "drop their hoop" and exit the game.

Each player begins with five cards in hand and five cards openly displayed in front of them. On their turn, a player can choose to play a card from their hand or one of their open cards. The first player starts by playing any card and then challenges the next player to go "higher" or "lower." The next player must either follow the challenge or "double" by playing the same card as the previous one. If someone doubles, all players must either continue doubling or break the double by playing a neighboring card or a joker. If a player cannot make a valid move, they "drop their hoop" and are out for that round.

The round ends when only one player remains or when a player has successfully played all their cards. The winner of the round earns points equal to the total number of cards played in that round. The first player to reach 77 points wins the game.
