Kingdom Rush: Elemental Uprising is a cooperative, standalone board game designed for 1 to 4 players, offering an immersive tower-defense experience. Players become asymmetrical heroes defending their kingdom from waves of monster hordes. To fend off the monsters, players deploy towers and use polyomino tiles to cover and eliminate enemy hordes. Earned crystals and gold can be used to purchase new towers or modify existing ones for customization.
The game introduces a variety of special monster abilities, requiring players to strategically pass towers and position attacks to bypass magic shields and other monster powers. Heroes will also face game-altering events and elemental disruptions like volcanoes and cyclones.
Playable as individual scenarios or as part of an evolving campaign, Kingdom Rush: Elemental Uprising features simple rules with deep tactical elements. Players can select different difficulty levels for each scenario or challenge themselves with the Iron Challenges, which demand near-perfect strategies.
