In Kiri-ai: The Duel, each player has a hand of cards representing movements, attacks, or special actions on the battlefield. At the start of each round, players place two cards face down next to the battlefield, which are then resolved one at a time. Using these cards, players can advance or retreat, strike high or low, aiming to inflict damage. The game is won by landing two successful strikes on your opponent.
