Kings of Middle-earth - Expanding the Epic War of the Ring

Kings of Middle-earth, the latest expansion for War of the Ring Second Edition, introduces two exciting new types of characters: Sovereigns and Dark Chieftains. These additions bring new depth and strategic elements to your game, highlighting key personalities and their roles in the epic struggle for Middle-earth.

The Sovereigns of the Free Peoples—Brand, Dáin Ironfoot, Denethor, Théoden, and Thranduil—were central to Sauron’s efforts to undermine their resolve. Sauron sought to manipulate and control these influential figures through the palantíri (seeing stones), emissaries like Gríma, and other deceitful tactics. The expansion’s new rules, miniatures, cards, and Action dice enhance your ability to leverage these charismatic leaders and rally the Free Peoples against the encroaching Shadow.
