Marvel: Age of Heroes is an epic strategy game where players command a duo of X-Men to defeat villains and complete various objectives. Designed by Rodney Thompson, the game blends worker placement with resource management, offering a rich mix of strategy and theme.

Players can choose from fan-favorite teams like Wolverine & Jubilee, Jean Grey & Cyclops, and Forge & Storm. The game features striking full-color acrylic standees and cards with dreamscape art effects, resembling Cerebro’s vision.

The Institute Phase: Players send heroes to action spaces like the Danger Room or Medical Bay to gain benefits, increase tracks (Physical, Mental, Willpower), draw cards, or modify turn order. Ally cards introduce new actions as the game progresses.

The Mission Phase: Heroes are dispatched to the Mission Board or Extraction Point to tackle villains and challenges using accumulated resources and skills. Scenarios feature diverse challenges, from battling Sentinels to facing Magneto and Apocalypse. Each scenario alters the Institute Deck, providing a thematic storyline and varied gameplay.

The game includes evolution cards that enhance abilities and introduce new scoring conditions. Advanced mode offers asymmetric abilities and unique starting resources, adding depth and replayability.
