MATRX GIPF takes a step back to the origins of GIPF, before it became part of a larger project. This game uses the pieces (referred to as potentials) from GIPF Sets 1, 2, and 3, which were originally released alongside the games that now make up Project GIPF. MATRX GIPF serves not only to reintroduce these potentials as pieces that can be added to GIPF, but also to showcase the beginnings of the entire project through a standalone game. It is presented as the culmination of a highly regarded series of games.
