Metal Color is an innovative range of water-based metallic paints, formulated with high-quality aluminum pigments. Designed to replicate the metallic finishes of aircraft across all eras, these paints offer exceptional brightness and reflective power. Unlike traditional enamels and lacquers, Metal Color allows modelers to achieve stunning results with a full range of painting techniques.
Metal Color can be applied directly with an airbrush or diluted using Airbrush Thinner or Flow Improver. It dries quickly, forming a smooth, self-leveling layer that preserves fine details and provides durable coverage. The paints are also compatible with Model Air and Game Air colors for tinting directly in the airbrush. For best results on aircraft models, apply Gloss Black Primer to enhance the metallic sheen.
Recommended compressor settings: 15-20 PSI (0.5-1 kg).
Additional options include Gloss Metal Varnish to seal your work.
Packaging: Available in 32 ml/1.08 fl oz bottles with a hinged cap and eyedropper for precise application. Each bottle contains a stainless steel mixing ball for easy paint blending.
