The Army Painter
Mixing Balls
Achieve the Perfect Paint Consistency with The Army Painter Mixing Balls
The Army Painter paints are formulated with heavy pigmentation for superior coverage on your models and miniatures. Over time, pigment may settle at the bottom, causing separation. But don't worry—our Mixing Balls provide the perfect solution!
Why Mixing Balls?
Simply add two of our 5.5 mm stainless steel high-grade Mixing Balls into your paint bottle and shake for 30 seconds. These Mixing Balls agitate the paint, ensuring the pigments blend evenly, giving you the ideal consistency for smooth and precise brushwork.
Heavy pigments or older paints may form clumps that can ruin your finish. Mixing Balls—also known as stirring balls, agitator balls, or paint mixing balls—help break up clumps, making your paint easier to work with and preventing unwanted textures on your miniatures. Our Mixing Balls are made from rustproof stainless steel and won’t discolor your paint.
Using Mixing Balls is a simple and cost-effective way to maintain the quality of your paints, ensuring high-quality results when painting your models.

Why Use Two?
Using two Mixing Balls enhances efficiency. The balls strike each other as they move, creating a more randomized and effective agitation, ensuring your paint is thoroughly mixed for the best results.
