The Normans, originally Viking raiders known as Nortmann (northmen), significantly shaped history. Settling in northern France, they expanded their territory into southern Italy, Sicily, and even modern-day Syria. From their beginnings as raiders fighting on foot, they evolved into Dukes, Kings, and princes who fought from horseback.

Norman Conquests delves into the Norman impact with unique scenarios, including battles rarely seen in games. It features a battle against a Papal army, where the Norman Count of Apulia confronts and captures the Pope. The game also includes the invasion of England by Norwegian King Harald III Hardrada, alongside the famous Norman invasion of 1066 by William the Conqueror, and the subsequent conflict between William's sons over his lands. Finally, it covers the Baron's War, focusing on the conflict between Henry III and his barons led by Simon de Montfort.
