The third expansion for Onitama, Light and Shadow, introduces a new dimension to the game with the addition of the Ninja pawn. Unlike other pieces, the Ninja moves in secrecy, remaining hidden from your opponent until it’s ready to make its move.

Light and Shadow offers two modes of play:

• Way of the Shadow: A symmetrical game where each player deploys their own Ninja, adding a new strategic layer to the classic gameplay.
• Way of the Light: An asymmetrical game where one player uses the Ninja while the other plays as a traditional Onitama Master and Students.

This expansion enriches the elegant and straightforward martial tactics of Onitama with fresh strategies and challenges.
