Continuing our “abstract tactical” line, following The Duke, we present Paiko, a one-on-one strategy game designed for intuitive players. In Paiko, each tile you place expands your territory with its Threat, offering more strategic placement options while blocking your opponent. Accumulating Threat can capture your opponent’s tiles—a valuable secondary objective—but the main goal is to place enough tiles on the board to claim victory.
