Phantom Ink

In Phantom Ink, renowned mediums compete to decipher a secret object, proving their connection to the "World Beyond." The first team to correctly identify the secret object wins!

To begin, players are divided into two teams: the Sun team and the Moon team, with each team having one Spirit and up to three Mediums. The Mediums share a hand of seven question cards, while the Spirits choose one of the five objects on a card as the secret object.

During a turn, the Mediums pass two question cards to their Spirit, with questions like "What color is it most commonly?", "What fictional character has it or uses it?", or "If it were a musical instrument, what would it be?" The Spirit discards one question card face-up and returns the other to the Mediums, then slowly writes the answer one letter at a time for everyone to see. The Mediums can yell "Silencio" as soon as they think they know what the word is, stopping the Spirit from writing further. For example, if the question was "What color is it?" and the Spirit writes "Y", the Mediums might infer the clue is "yellow." The turn ends by drawing two new question cards.

Instead of asking a question, a team can choose to guess the secret object by writing it out one letter at a time. If an incorrect letter is written, the Spirit will stop the guess, marking the error, and potentially giving the other team more information. If the guess is correct, the team wins the game!
