Pies

Pies is a strategic and enjoyable trick-taking game where players aim to collect the best combinations of fruit cards in three rounds. Each round features six tricks (five in a five-player game), with players playing one card each and the highest card holder taking a card from the trick. Special actions can be triggered, including stealing cards or calling a dog to protect fruit from thieves. The player with the most valuable pie mixes at the end of the game wins. This unique game features a clever auction order mechanism and various strategic options to fulfill recipes and gain valuable tie-breaking pies. It is a beautifully reimagined version of a beloved classic, Plums. The game includes 93 fruit cards, 9 pie tokens, 5 player order tokens, and 1 dog card.
