Pike & Shotte Epic Battles: Baggage Camp

Moving an army required an enormous baggage train, composed of hundreds of carts and wagons, loaded with essential supplies like gunpowder, ammunition, food, and forage. While mostly staffed by civilians, these baggage trains were a valuable prize for enemy cavalry. To protect these vital supplies, they were often fortified or guarded by musket-armed companies, ensuring the army’s continued operation.
