Reavers of Midgard is a single worker placement game featuring elements of set collection, dice combat, and engine building, all set in the Champions of Midgard universe. In Champions of Midgard, your goal was to become Jarl by defending your port town from trolls, draugr, and epic monsters. Now, it’s time to take the offensive.
In Reavers of Midgard, you’ll seek glory by raiding nearby villages for their riches, sacking well-fortified castles, and battling both humans and monsters on the open seas. You'll need to bring along your rowdy Viking crew and the necessary food to keep them content, while also recruiting elite warriors known as Reavers.
Reavers can be utilized in three key ways:
As your ship’s leader, granting you a one-time bonus and enhancing your warriors’ versatility in combat.
To recruit additional warriors, ensuring your ship is well-staffed with the right fighters for various situations.
To help your crew specialize, earning bonuses each time your crew engages in battle.
The player who accumulates the most glory after six rounds will be the victor.
