It is the year 2250 in Red Dust Rebellion , and the bicentennial celebrations are set to begin, marking 200 years since the first human colony was established on Mars. These two centuries have been a time of remarkable human achievement, but also immense hardship. Mars, a harsh and unforgiving world, offers no refuge on its barren surface. As a result, humanity has built sprawling underground cities known as labyrinths. Over the years, the Martian people have developed their own distinct culture and identity, and they now seek more control over their own governance. To many, Earth feels like a distant power with too much influence over Martian affairs. Moreover, Earth’s corporations hold too much sway over life and death on Mars. While some dream of transforming Mars into a lush, green world teeming with life, others fear that humanity’s intervention could ruin the planet’s delicate climate.
