In Rivals for Catan, you take charge of one of two factions vying to develop newly-settled Catan. Use your cards to build your principality, explore new lands, and gather resources through card play and dice rolls. Manage gold, resource combinations, and trade to expand your settlements and cities. Recruit heroes and defend your domain using politics, invention, and intrigue. Your strategic decisions and a bit of luck will determine who becomes the ruler of Catan.

In addition to the base game, Rivals for Catan includes three exciting “Theme Games” to further challenge you: The Age of Gold, The Age of Turmoil, and The Era of Progress.
