In Shadowrun: Tarnished Star, the once honorable motto "to serve and protect" is now a cruel joke. The justice system is corrupt, with due process only applying to the wealthy and powerful. Those who dare to challenge the status quo are swiftly crushed. The symbol of justice, once gleaming, is now tarnished. Despite this, there are still some who try to uphold the law, even on a small scale. However, this often leads to complicated relationships between the law and the shadows.
