The Caverns of Cynder expansion immerses players in a fiery dimension of lava and ash, where dark and ancient evils are imprisoned. Rivers of molten rock and lakes of fire create the perilous landscape, forging menacing Lava Men to confront any intruders. However, treasure awaits the brave, with gold and priceless artifacts scattered throughout the fiery depths.

This expansion introduces a new OtherWorld for Heroes to explore—the Caverns of Cynder. It includes 18 new Map Tiles featuring the Caverns on one side and unique Mine rooms on the reverse. The expansion enriches the variety of rooms in the Mines and adds new Encounter cards to challenge Heroes. It also brings Cynder Encounters, Artifacts, OtherWorld Threats, and Map Cards to enhance the adventure.

Beware the dangers of Cynder, where Lava Spaces can ignite Heroes who stray too close, and colossal Lava Men emerge from the depths to intimidate all who enter their realm. The expansion includes 3 large plastic Lava Men figures unique to The Caverns of Cynder.
