In Sheriff of Nottingham 2nd Edition, players take turns playing the role of the Sheriff, who is on the lookout for contraband, and the Merchants, who are trying to fill their stalls with the most valuable goods. The Sheriff has the power to inspect any merchant's bag, but they must tread carefully—if a merchant was truthful, the Sheriff will have to pay a penalty. This new edition features updated rules and includes expansions like the 6th Merchant, Black Market, and Sheriff's Deputies."
