As a house lord, you’ll start with a deck of love cards and a few maids. Throughout the game, you’ll employ more maids, increasing your deck and vying for victory points.
Romantic Vacation features familiar love and maid cards, but introduces a new twist: reminiscence cards. These cards, representing special moments like “Camp Fire” or “Watching the Stars,” offer valuable victory points. However, unlike other victory points, these aren’t bought with love; they’re earned by discarding a specific number of maids from your hand.
This introduces a new strategy, allowing you to gain victory points through pure maid cards, a previously impossible feat.
