A road trip on the edge of reality.
When did it all begin? I can’t exactly remember, but it started like any casual activity, I suppose. Like watching TV. Sometimes they'd watch TV, other times they'd just sit there with their neurocasters on. I wasn’t bothered by it. But after the big 1996 update, things started to get strange. Mode Six.
This game follows a group of travelers on a journey through a strange version of America in an alternate 1997. The remnants of massive battle drones are scattered across the land, alongside the remnants of a once-thriving, now-decaying consumerist society.
The game isn’t about reaching a destination, but about the journey itself—what the characters experience, how it changes them, and what they learn about themselves. It’s a game of exploration, self-discovery, and understanding who your friends are, and what you’re willing to do as the world around you unravels.
