In The Plot Thickens, players use a hand of 5 word cards—each depicting a person, place, or thing—to create an improvised story. The goal is to work together and weave stories, earning "plot points" for each card played. At the end of the game, the player who made the most connections gets to decide how the story concludes, while the player with the most connections to their cards chooses the story's name.
