The Nightfall expansion for The Stifling Dark introduces a new component and mechanic to the game. It adds two new investigators, four items, and one cursed item. The expansion features large flashlights that cover more ground than the small flashlights from the base game, although they cannot reveal the adversary. Additionally, flashlight augments are introduced, allowing players to modify their flashlights for various functions to either assist fellow investigators or obstruct the adversary.
