Through Ice and Snow

Step into the age of discovery as the British Empire sends expeditions into the Arctic to uncover the Northwest Passage and establish vital trade routes to Asia. In Through Ice and Snow, you and your fellow players will navigate treacherous waters, document species, map uncharted territories, and compete to become the most renowned explorer.

As the expedition progresses, the modular board expands with new map pieces and routes. Each player commands their own ship and a crew of officers with specialized skills:

• The Carpenter: Builds upgrades and structures to support your journey.
• The Scientist: Advances research and offers innovative inventions.
• The Captain: Provides leadership and keeps your crew organized.

Players can also recruit Inuit guides, experts in finding fuel, enhancing sleds, and leading crucial hunting parties.

Each expedition brings unique challenges, from food shortages and mutinies to brutal Arctic weather. Success will immortalize your name in history, but failure could leave you lost in the ice forever.
