Wayfarers of the South Tigris takes place at the peak of the Abbasid Caliphate, around 820 AD. Players take on the roles of explorers, cartographers, and astronomers setting out from Baghdad to chart the surrounding lands, waterways, and skies. To succeed, players must skillfully manage their caravan of workers and equipment while periodically documenting their discoveries at the House of Wisdom. Will you earn the Caliph’s favor, or falter in the face of the untamed wilderness?
