The World's Fair 1893 was a grand international exhibition in Chicago that highlighted significant achievements in science, technology, culture, and entertainment. In the Mensa Select Award-winning game World's Fair 1893, you can travel back in time to become one of the event's organizers. Compete with other players to gain influence and secure the most impressive exhibits for the fair.
While the original fair showcased notable advancements, it also reflected the prevalent issues of racism and segregation, with African Americans and Indigenous Americans being excluded. The new edition of the game addresses this by including a diverse group of historical figures as playable characters. This update was developed in collaboration with historical consultant Jade R. Rogers, founder of The House of Afros, Capes & Curls.
